Xmas Power Balls

60 calories each – Makes 20




For the balls

200g ground almonds

400g Medjool dates

4 tbs raw cacao powder

2 tbs almond butter

2 tbs coconut oil

2 tbs chia seeds

Grated rind of an orange

¼ - ½ tsp cinamon powder

2 tbs water


For the decoration

¼ tsp edible paint

¼ tsp edible glue

red and green edible sparkle



  1. Pit the dates and chop roughly.                            ​

  2. Put them in a food processor with all

  3. the other ingredients and blend them ​

  4. all together until they look ​

  5. ​like sticky breadcrumbs and will

  6. stick together between your fingers

  7. Roll the mix into approximately 20 balls.

  8. Put them on a baking tray and freeze them for an hour to set.

  9. Decorate to look like mini Xmas puddings, place in an airtight container in the fridge.
